In Daly, California on January 25, 2018, Jesuit Priest Albert Alejo tells a potpourri of interesting stories about Davao City — including the ‘reality’ that Davao has malls but also mass graves and how Duterte’s DDS victimized 1434 people and you multiply that number twice and the product is the number of victims thrown into the sea by the same vigilante group.
His stories are generously peppered with many conjectures.
However, some claims are really serious.
The video uploaded by Edwin B on YouTube says Alejo and Rene Ciriacruz of the Philippine Daily Inquirer “exposed extrajudicial killings, attacks on freedom of the press, and maneuvers toward a one-man rule being perpetrated by the Duterte presidency in the Philipines.”
At one point, Fr. Alejo narrates what he’s told Matobato during a meeting:
“Hiding you is complicated enough. Exposing you makes it even more complicated. And then after exposing you, hiding you again. That’s a bit of a task.”
How he introduced Matobato to disgraced senator Leila de Lima.
How Trillanes came in to “secure the process...” of having Matobato tell his story against Duterte in the Senate.
And how in 2005 Bato has supposedly intimated that Duterte “eliminated competition” when the former Davao mayor allegedly ordered the killing of a suspected drug lord named Allan Sy, owner of a shabu factory raided by police.
